Princess Charlene in Lanvin for the Prince Albert Awards

As the title says, last night (Sunday), Prince Albert and Princess Charlene attended the annual Prince Albert Awards in Palm Springs, this was the first time for the 7-year-old awards gala to be held in the United States.

Princess Charlene wearing Lanvin

For the occasion, Charlene chose a navy blue loose fit dress with a gathered detail from Lanvin.

The silk satin dress (actually it's 75% viscose!) features a round neck and -very- short sleeves. It's currently on sale for 1.113 on Farfetch, you can but it from HERE.

Somehow this dress is actually designed for non-pregnant women and it's supposed to look like this on them:

I'm not a fan of the dress, but kudos to Charlene for picking a dress that's made for non-pregnant women to make them look pregnant when they're not pregnant while she was pregnant (I really needed to say that :D)!

Charlene wore python sandals that I couldn't identify, they're not Stuart Weitzman's Nudist, though. Her Cartier stud diamond earrings completed the look.

Earlier this weekend, on Saturday, the Prince and Princess of Monaco visited the Barbara Sinatra Children's Center.

Princess Charlene in a yellow Akris dress

Charlene wore a custom-made Akris yellow Ombre Boucle Sheath Dress. Yes, that yellow thing is actually knitted on the fabric making it look like it's growing -yellow- grass!

I love the contrasting textures of the dress, but I'm not sure about the cowl neckline... Walter Steiger ballet flats completed the look.

Does Lanvin excite you or are these outfits just below Char's average?

Princess Charlene Wears Dior to the Princess Grace Awards

Princess Charlene and Prince Albert attended the Princess Grace Awards on the 8th of October. The awards gala is usually hosted in New York and this was the first time in three decades for it to go to Los Angeles.

Pregnant Princess Charlene in Dior

With the event hosted by Dior, it only made sense that the princess would opt for a Dior Haute Couture look. The white sleeveless gown features an empire waist that cascades into a flowy, pleated chiffon skirt with a thin belt/sash between the contrasting bust-skimming and bump-flattering parts of the frock.

Dior has done some Grecian-goddess dresses for Charlene before, but this comes as the most beautiful and classic of them, it has simply booked its place in my favorite looks of Char's and my favorite maternity dresses lists. I keep on thinking that we could easily see the Duchess of Cambridge in a similar dress during her pregnancy, don't you think?

The Princess of Monaco styled her white gown with silver Dior sandals and kept her makeup minimal. For jewelry, she wore her HUGE diamond drop earrings that I haven't been able to identify (yet). She's worn them to the Boxing Bonanza and St. David's Gala earlier this year.

Oh, and in case you haven't heard....

It's now official that Monaco will be celebrating princely twins!

Are you as excited as I am?,, royalista,
