Princess Charlene Wears Atelier Versace to the Monte-Carlo Gala For The Global Ocean

Last night the Prince and Princess of Monaco attended the Inaugural Monte-Carlo Gala For The Global Ocean which is Presided by Prince Albert and hosted by Global Fundraising Chairman Milutin Gatsby, the inaugural “Monte Carlo Gala for the Global Ocean” honored Leonardo DiCaprio for his outstanding actions for the preservation of our Planet. You may remember that Prince Albert and Princess Charlene (in Armani Privé) attended one of Leonardo's gala's last year.

For the event, Her Serene Highness wore a strapless black gown by Atelier Versace (Confirmed by the Palace).

While the frock was made especially for the princess, the skirt portion complete with a very high slit hidden by one layer of chiffon looks a little similar to this look from the Fall 2017 collection.

The intricate embroidery on the bodice has not been seen in any collection because is out of this world!

The only thing I don't understand is why pair a dress with GOLD details with the SILVER sandals that seemed to be killing your feet a few days earlier at the Versace fashion show in Milan, but this look is by far Charlene's best in so long so I'm not going to complain. Not even about her wearing only one of her Cartier stud earrings!

UPDATE:

In the picture below, you can see that Char's dress also has silver embroidery on the bodice, which may explain the choice of silver shoes... So no complaints from me!

What a difference a few days make!

Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella Wear Façonnable and Adidas

Earlier this month, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella attended their third Annual Picnic in Monaco. You may remember that last year the Crown Prince wore Gucci.

This year, Princess Charlene dressed the twins in matchy-matchy outfits for the first time in public.

Princess Charlene Takes Milan by Storm

After years of shying away from fashion shows, the Princess of Monaco finally reemerged to Milan Fashion Week starting with Armani.

For the star-studded fashion show (Cate Blanchett was there among others), the Princess donned a jumpsuit based on one of the Pre-Fall 2017 looks and a stone-colored trench coat.

Charlene accessorized with python print flats and an Ecurie bag which you can buy in black for USD $1,935 HERE.

The next stop for the mother of twins was at the Versace show. Donatella's tribute to her brother who passed away 20 years ago.

For the historic show, Her Serene Highness, the Princess of Monaco went all out in one of her edgiest looks ever. The metallic dress is almost too risqué with the cutouts that go all the way to South Africa. The dress is a true tribute to Gianni and everything he stood for. And while it's rather flashy bordering on trashy even, if there is any royal who can pull it off it's our Char!

Charlene paired the dress with a black biker jacket which is actually from the men's collection and you can buy it for $5,500 on Farfetch.

We'll soon take a look at designer creations for next spring and imagine which royal will wear what!

Do you think Charlene's cutout dress was edgy and fierce or just a little too much?

Princess Charlene's Mystery Dress Solved

Princess Charlene joined Prince Albert in April 2014 to inaugurate L'île aux Bambins (a nursery that accommodates children aged 3 months to 3 years). The Princess wore a grey sweater dress that was never ID'd. Now, over three years later, I found the dress on Ebay!

The ivory and navy marled (not grey, apparently) dress is Louis Vuitton!

The dress is currently on sale for $599 and you can buy it from HERE.
