Princess Charlene Wears Atelier Versace to the 2018 Red Cross Gala

Prince Albert and Princess Charlene are at the 70th Red Cross Ball right now, probably dancing the night away. We looked at Princess Charlene's possible looks yesterday and we agreed that Atelier Versace was a strong possibility,  BUT I never expected THIS!

This gown is just beyond. After last year's uber-modern, alien-chic look, I didn't expect this out-of-this-world creation! The Princess of Monaco looks phenomenal in a "fully beaded Atelier Versace gown with a degrade scale Swarovski motif in the tones of blue, gold and crystal."

Charlene wore blue silk satin sandals and a silver clutch, both also by Versace.

While the color is somewhat similar to last years, the entire look has a completely different feel. Charlene worked with a lot of designers and she often seemed to be wearing the same thing even when she wasn't. This has never been the case with Versace, each piece they created for her looks distinctly different from the other. This is not just a matter of the frocks being couture, but also a matter of Donatella and her team being geniuses.

Just look at how statuesque she looks, I can't wait for videos to see all these fish scale details flowing 😍

As you can see in previous pics, the Repossi engagement ring made an appearance, and Her Serene Highness paired it with a wrap-around bracelet and a diamond earcuff, by Repossi too, I believe... but still waiting for a confirmation...

This hair length is perfection and the new do is just what the dress needed. Usually, Charlene plays with her eyeshadow and this time was no exception, I love how the blue and the silver blend in to match the dress.

Do you love this look as much as I do?

Note 1: Thanks to the Versace PR team for the very fast confirmation and full details of this masterpiece!
Note 2: Will update the post with videos and confirmation from Repossi as I get them.

7 Breathtaking Gowns I Want Princess Charlene to Wear to the Red Cross Ball

The 70th Red Cross Ball is tomorrow and I couldn't be more excited. Now that the Princess stopped going to the Bal de la Rose, this is the most glamorous event on her calendar. We did two throwbacks on Instagram, you can view them HERE and HERE. But this did not satisfy my cravings for neither gowns nor jewelry. So I roamed the best online retailers and found the most perfect dresses for Her
Serene Highness.
Warning: Dresses get more $$$$ as you scroll down!

1. Oscar De La Renta One-Shoulder Draped Gown

The pink gown is a dream, it's glamorous and sexy and really suits Princess Charlene's style. Not only would the one shoulder neckline look amazing on her figure, but also it sets the stage for some major jewelry. The bow on the shoulder is just the cherry on top.

Price: $3,947 (50% off)
Where: Farfetch

2. Oscar De La Renta Strapless Scoop Neck Gown

This gown gives me some very serious Vivienne Westwood vibes, A label I would very much like to see on Charlene. The frock is very minimalistic.... which is perfect to take the Infinite Cascade necklace for an outing 7 years after the first (and last) time we saw it. #BringTheNecklaceBack.

We all know the Princess of Monaco loves her metallic gowns, I think this D&G would be no exception. It's quite similar to the Ralph Lauren Collection she wore last year to the Princess Grace Awards, but it has certain qualities that make it unique.  Although I'd be really happy if she wore this frock, In all honesty, I'm more excited about D&G as a designer for Charlene than I am for the dress as it's a bit too similar to last year's Versace number.

Price: $6,495

4. Carolina Herrera Off-Shoulder Bow Dress

As expected from Carolina, this is the perfect combo between glam and comfort. This dress is a show stopper by all means. the pockets make it cozy, and the A-line silhouette makes walking a breeze. Infinite Cascade for this one, too?

Price: $5,290
Where: Farfetch

5. Marchesa Beaded Tulle Metallic Gown

Okay, I know she wouldn't wear this, but then again, wouldn't she? She's taken so many fashion risks over the years that I think this could just be possible... Some simple Cartier earrings and she's READY. TO. SLAY!

Price: $8,995

6. Naeem Khan Embellished Tulle Gown

One of those gowns that speak for themselves and yourself. It's SUPER sexy without having to show too much skin... I wouldn't even ask for too much jewelry with it... you know, just a casual tiara...
Price: $10,995
Where: Net-A-Porter

7. Atelier Versace

Will Donatella work her charms this year, too? I sure think so. The gown above may not be the one Charlene ends up wearing, but whatever Atelier Versace designs for Charlene, We'll love it, k?

Price: $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Where: They'll come to you, fly in for fittings, dress comes with a magic wand that makes it fit like a glove!

Princess Charlene Recycles Louis Vuitton Coat to Visit the Nelson Mandela Foundation in Johannesburg

Princess Charlene is in Johannesburg. A few days ago, she attended the 16th Nelson Mandela lecture and meeting with Obama.

Yesterday, the Princess visited the Nelson Mandela Foundation headquarters to attend a presentation on the Foundation's projects and to deliver a speech. The Princess Also met with Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Richard Branson.

The Princess gifted Desmond Tutu with a photo of the twins, and she could be seen exchanging a joke with him about it.

Before we talk about the clothes, let me remind you that it's currently winter in South Africa. Okay? Now, the Princess wore a Louis Vuitton coat that she first wore in London in 2016 to meet with Sir Tim Laurence and to visit Westminister Abbey.

With the PreFall 2016 coat, the Princess repeated a pair of Christian Dior Black Glazed Leather and Kidskin Pumps, from 2013 this time. Charlene has this style is several colours and she has shown her love for them all over the years. Char probably realized that she needed to make up for it being a repeat and brought one of her big gun pearl earrings. I believe this is the Graff Diamonds pair she wore to the Grand Prix in 2016.

I've been in love with this coat since I first saw it, so I'm glad it got another outing, 'tis a $5,000 coat after all. Charlene has been repeating a lot lately, though..... I wonder why 🤔🤔🤔

Do you like this coat?

Princess Charlene Wears Erre & Carolina Herrera to the #FTV2018

A few days ago. Princess Charlene and Prince Albert hosted a bunch of celebs at the Palais Princier in honor of the Monte-Carlo TV Festival. The Palace did not release any pictures from the event but Shemar Moore posted a photo that gave us a glimpse into the event.

The Princess wore a dress by Erre, a South African brand that she was introduced to in April when she posed for the cover of Rooi Rose. The princess liked their designs and went home to Monaco with some of their pieces. A while later Erre made this white dress for the princess. According to the designer, the dress is made in Ivory crepe Jersey. It features multiple layers of soft neck fabric draped across the shoulders who create a powerful silhouette. The princess's hair was made by Kevin Smeenk and her makeup was made by Rubi Long. I'm digging this look on the princess; it's modern, it's glamorous,  and most importantly it supports emerging talents.

Erre has a selection of their product available on their website. However,  this dress is no longer available for purchase as it's from the 2017 collection. Check out their website HERE to see what they have to offer, their prices are very reasonable for the quality, and they ship worldwide.
If you're as in love with this dress as I am,  you'd be happy to know that I've located some dresses that look a lot like it.
This DKNY dress features sleeve ruffles that highlight the shoulders just like Charlene's. It's even made and crave Jersey as well. It's currently on sale for $50.99 down from $129. You can buy it from HERE.

For a slightly sexier look, This BCBGeneration dress is a great pick with its v-neck and mini A-line skirt. this is also on sale for $67 down from $130. You can buy it from Saks Off Fifth.

The next day the princess attended the golden nymph Awards add the Grimaldi Forum. For this occasion, the princess donned beige/gold//cream/off-white ball gown by Carolina Herrera.

The Gown comes from the Icon collection, a stable collection that you can buy all year round from Carolina. what makes the gown special is that it features of V-neck with a pleading detail and a gathered skirt that descends into a short train.

The Gown is absolutely gorgeous $4,990, a small price to pay for all of this, although I'm not sure my bank would agree. The frock is available in black and you can buy it from Saks Fifth Avenue from HERE

Looking at this frock on the princess I can't help but wish she wore it in the pink I shared on Instagram.  the fit also seems a little off,  given the princess in the water bike challenge in the morning,  it's probably likely that she did not have time for a fitting that day.

A Charlene in jewelry is a Charlene I'm always here for, I feel like these gorgeous Repossi earrings would have looked better on a different dress. In fact, this frock actually needed a necklace more than it needed such dramatic earrings. But I can't complain about jewelry... Ever!

I can, however, complain about the makeup. The princess has done way better in the past and recently hair makeup game was on fleek.  so, I'm left a little disappointed by The Beauty look for the night.  I do not like the pink eyeshadow nor do I like the nude lip.  when the color of the dress is blergh,  the least you can do Spruce it up with some glamorous Makeup. Sadly this time, the princess's makeup artist that did not deliver.

Would you like me to find Copy-Char versions of this dress?
