Princess Charlene's Fashion

Princess Charlene in Akris for the Formula 1 Grand Prix

It's the day we've been waiting for is here. The Grand Prix final took place today and it looked like a lot of fun!

The event started with the Princess posting for Monegasque Formula 1 Driver, Charles Leclerc and their new campaign with the FIA for road safety. As one of my readers said: "Her Serene Highness is not kidding in the photo for the campaign. NO SPEEDING."

Later on, as events unfolded, Lewis Hamilton won the race. German driver, Sebastian Vettel came in second and is seen in the picture above while receiving his trophy from La Princess Charlene de Monaco.

King Carl Gustaf and Prince Carl Philip of Sweden were also at the race and watched the race from the balcony with Their Serene Highnesses.

What Princess Charlene Wore

The Princess donned an Akris Black silk crêpe asymmetric long tunic, Neon asymmetric tunic with Bellini silk bottom zip pant. the ensemble comes from the Spring/Summer collection but the colours were especially changed for the Princess for the occasion.

The Princess finished off her look with a pink Akris Anouk Clutch, diamond stud earrings, and black Dior pumps and sunglasses.

Charlene's hair was done by Stephane Madinier. I am loving the curls.

What do you think of this look?

Princess Charlene in Akris for the First Day of the Monaco 2019 Grand Prix 🇲🇨

It's this time of the year again. Celebrities of all kinds are flocking into the Cote d'Azur for Cannes Film Festival, the galas, and last but not least, The Grand Prix de Monaco.

The highlight of the Monegasque summer calendar kicked off today with a very important cause that Princess Charlene has been involved in lately, road safety. Joined by Prince Albert, Charlene de Monaco received Mr. Jean Todt, President of the Federation Internationale de L'automobile, the organization of which Princess Charlene is now a special ambassador.

On this occasion, Jean Todt presented the new banner of the #3500Lives campaign, bringing together HSH Princess Charlene and Charles Leclerc, Monaco's Formula 1 driver to raise awareness about road safety. According to the FIA, 3500 people die in accidents every day, 50% of which are pedestrians. The campaign video shows Her Serene Highness asking drivers to look carefully for pedestrians while driving.

Style note: Princess Charlene wore an Akris Nappa Leather jacket that she first wore to present Novak Djokovic with his Laureus Award in 2015.

After that, Their Serene Highnesses went down to the tracks to greet members of the Red Cross and say hi to the drivers, including the renowned, Lewis Hamilton.

The Princess ditched the prescription glasses for reflective sunglasses, added a red cross (?) lapel pin and carried a clutch.

What Charlene Wore

The Princess chose an olive-green Akris wide-leg crop jumpsuit from the Spring 2019 collection. The silk jumpsuit features a self-tie that HSH draped to the left side.

The beige version of the jumpsuit is currently on sale on Moda Operandi for $1,434.

The Princess wore a silk Akris lapel collar jacket on top of her jumpsuit. the jacket is very light as the sleeves are sheer.

The beige version of this jacket is also currently on sale on Moda Operandi for $2,394.

The big clutch Princess Charlene carried is the GIVENCHY Antigona Envelope Clutch in brown. This clutch is so classy and very distinguishable. It's currently available in black on Net-A-Porter for $1,395.

The Princess swept her now mid-length hair to the side and it is looking GOOD thanks to Stephane Madininer. Her simple natural makeup was done by Rubi Long who has worked with the princess extensively in the past.

Now the question is do you prefer the princess with prescription glasses or sunglasses?

Princess Charlene Wears A New Designer to Open Princess Grace Exhibition in Macau, China

On May 15th, Princess Charlene arrived in Macau to inaugurate "Grace Kelly From Hollywood to Monaco" exhibition in the Galaxy Macao exhibition gallery. The exhibition offers a glimpse into Princess Grace's style evolution and will continue until August 28th.

Princess Charlene Wears a black Tom Ford dress to Open Princess Grace Exhibition in Macau

Not too long ago, Prince Albert inaugurated an exhibition on the Grimaldi's in Bejing. The exhibition included Princess Charlene's Armani wedding gown and Van Cleef & Arpels Ocean tiara.

This is also not Princess Charlene's first time in China as she visited in 2012 as a global ambassador for the Special Olympics. You may also recall that Princess Charlene welcomed the Chinese President with Prince Albert at the Palais Princier in March.

Princess Charlene Wears a black Tom Ford dress to Open Princess Grace Exhibition in Macau

For this week's occasion, Princess Charlene turned the glamour ON. This dress is sleek and very demure with high neckline, low hemline, and long sleeves. But man is it figure-hugging and is the fabric so subtly sexy. It comes from a very well known designer whom the Princess of Monaco has never worn before. Who made it you ask? drum rolls, please.

Princess Charlene in Adidas and Louis Vuitton for Sainte Devote Rugby Tournament

Hallelujah, two appearances in one week. Starting with a visit to a drowning prevention session that the USA West rugby team was having while in Monaco to participate in the 2019 Sainte Devote Tournament.

The Princess of Monaco stayed true to her casual and hip style and wore Adidas Originals Black OG Adibreak Track Pants that I personally think are so cool.

The pants have a relaxed fit and are currently sold for $75 on SSense. The top, however, comes from the winter collection of the South African brand, Erre.

The Princess received a plaque from the American team.

The next, the entire family showed up to watch the tournament

For the occasion, Princess Charlene wore a simple black top and a new leather jacket (designer unknown), and super cool Louis Vuitton cargo pants.

The pants feature a diagonal zipper and band that gives the trousers a very utilitarian vibe. I'm swooning over this pair but it's $2,530 :O

Dior sunglasses finished the sporty-chic look and may I say I'm in love with the hair and makeup?
